Dwarf here with a few off topic statements; to jerry from Oregon (?) If you do come to London I'll buy you a drink and we'll get trashed. Also stork please take back your statement about Glenfiddich being gay. I don't think you even know the meaning of the word whiskey.

The "e" is in Irish Whiskey, and the American Whiskey. And that is what I know about non-Bourbon spirits.

Remember, though, this is stork, he probably can't spell whiskey or whisky.

In the 20 years I've known Stork, I've never know him to drink anything but beer.
Glenfiddich is good, but I prefer my scotches smokier.

Just got finished listening to the whole podcast today and decided to give some constructive advice to the Savage World guy with the DBZ/anime inspired game session.
I have no evidence to it, but I bet the players and GM are having problems showing the extra long and extra crazy fight scenes that come up with this genre. I want to suggest that they should look at a few of the underused and overlooked rules in the Savage Worlds Deluxe book:
Chase Rules -----------
These rules cover more than just car chases, they are meant to work with aerial and foot stuff too. The aerial version, Dogfight rules as they call it, would be perfect for a flying fight like that of Dragon Ball Z. I love the chase rules and find them not only fun, but different enough to be worth adding into play sessions. It abstracts enough that you do not have to have a 3D height map to tell what's going on, yet its intricate enough to make it feel "worth" doing. Also the chase rules are just fun(in my opinion).
Dramatic Task -------------
No one says that the powers listed in the primary book are the only way to do them. With complicated things like the Kamahahahawhatever DBZ thing, why not have it take a Dramatic Task just to pull it off? Or, how about invoking a Dramatic task to evade an attack? Let's say Vegeta does his "million tiny fireballs" thing, or maybe the players rush up for a barrage of dozens of melee attacks in a swarm. These could have the potential to do lots of damage, but if the Dramatic Task is resolved, then they evade the entire thing.

"To have a meaningful campaign, accurate fecal records must be kept." Fucked!
And so it was that on that day in March 2014, Gina did wreck the Happy Jacks forums by pointing out the obvious to the Lords of the Douche how easy it was to change somebody's comments and make it look like they were being quoted. And GO!

"Dear Diary, Today my BM was loose, and darker than yesterday's..." This makes me laugh too hard. I haven't heard anyone say "BM" since my grandma, when I was 5. :D

I might point out that in parts of Europe a small internal shelf is a standard fitting on toilets, precisely so that one can examine ones poo before flushing . . . . (true) Aaron

The chat towards the end about what the authorities think about our collective browsing history<snipped> I used to work for a compositor. I always wanted to be a fly on the wall when they started monitoring our emails... Especially since we almost sent one with the subject of "President's House Goes BOOM." ^.^
