Somehow I can see the next couple contests coming out of this episode: An index of artifacts, cursed or uncursed, a big bag of shopkeepers (pre-named for convenience), friends for the party, and maybe even campaign settings.
By the time all the contests run through, you could make a big Happy Jacks GM resource omnibus out of them all.

Did he give you any indication of a day that absolutely would not fit his schedule? If so, you could mention the group needs to play on that day due to some miscellaneous circumstance. Otherwise, you might steer him toward another group: maybe you have some people who like to play board games or something who could put up with him for a little while?

you could have a bunch of blade golems like JiB says, and then once the party gets through with those, the blacksmith who made them is in a towering rage because you just killed his pointy, painful little babies.

I want this. I want it so hard. I will love it and hold it and hug it and read it and maybe even manage to find a group for it.

my only big ritual involving dice is this: i use the orange dice if it's light out when I start gaming, and the green ones if it's dark out when I start gaming. I dunno why it shakes out like that, but it always has.

A little bit of a non sequitur, but I used to be an armoured car guard, and loaded ATMs full of money. They hold anywhere from less then 10k, up to (usually) a maximum of 160k, depending on the forecasted traffic for that machine between service days. Banks don't like to put more money in it than they have to, as an ATM is actually not hard to knock over, so loading only the necessary amount plus a small buffer in case of unforeseen withdrawals limits their risk.
Usually, the little machines that aren't directly affiliated with a bank will have less money in them at any given time.
Also, most machines will only be serviced once a week, unless they're so busy that even at maximum load they can't get through the week. So a good ATM robber will make sure they know when the machine will have the most money in it.

I've already played Traveller and Savage Worlds via googly plus. I also used to run D7D 4E over skype. I'll play damn near anything, I got lots of books and I like to play.

I played WoW for 4 years. It was a fun time, lots of things to do, lots of different ways to waste time.... but I got too bored, and felt I'd rather grind a fork into my eye than sit around trying to dig up another fossil (yeah, they introduced an archaeology... minigame? Profession I guess). I know some of them just gave up on the MMO genre entirely, and while a lot of them are ripe for the pickin' tabletop-wise... it's more work than I can do to even catch all the ones I know personally. In short, my compatriots, good luck with that.

Holy christ. You know.... if it wasn't for the way that... thing keeps staring at me as it eats its own brains, it might be slightly more tolerably creepy. But probably not.
