So I'm rereading Dead Beat right now; still early on in it (Harry just met Cowl and Kumori). This must be my tenth time through, maybe more.
I'm also reading - well, listening to the audiobook, anyway - The Long War, by Stephen Barnes and Terry Pratchett; it's the sequel to The Long Earth. Basically, in the near future, someone invents a gizmo that can be built out of off-the-shelf parts, which can shift the holder into an immediately parallel-timeline Earth, devoid of humans. And you can do it again. And again. Millions of times, if you like.
I just finished Texas Public School Law, which I do not suggest unless you are required to read it.
And, of course, Mage: The Awakening Second Ed, and Demon: The Descent, each of which I go into more detail in the General Gaming section.
What are you folks reading?

I read rule books to go to sleep. The dry text helps me get sleepy. So in that respect I'm reading lots of Rifts splat books and the Daring Tales of Adventure source book one for my Savage Saturday Night store games.
It's funny because I used to read the Hordes rule book to fall asleep and I was the only person who knew the rules by heart because of that. But alas, don't play that anymore.

Currently reading 1Q84 (big book, but quite intriguing) and just started listening to the Expanse series.

I've been waffling on the Expanse - whether to read (listen to) it, or watch the adaptation.

Currently reading IQ84 (big book, but quite intriguing) 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami? Have to say I was rather unimpressed by it, it just failed to grab me in the slightest. I've just finished an alt-history book called United States of Japan, was OK but nothing amazing. Just about to start The Three Body Problem by Liu Cixin, have heard good thing about it. Also got a pile of early pre-50's sci-fi waiting to be read at some point.

That's the one, and I can understand that. A couple of the story lines are kind of slow. I think I'm about halfway through and stories are starting to come together. The story probably could have been told with less pages and not lost much (and this is coming from the guy who thought Foucault's Pendulum by Eco was too long, so take my opinion for what it's worth. )

I've been waffling on the Expanse - whether to read (listen to) it, or watch the adaptation. Well, according to some of the hosts, they're different (at least in feel; not sure about content), so maybe both? I'm enjoying Leviathan, and will probably start the show after I'm done to see what it's like.

Rereading the Harry Potter series starting with the first and Star Wars The Old Republic Revan novel. Also the first designers and dragons. And the Star Wars saga core book in hopes of running it in the new year.
I really enjoy Haruki Murakami and 1Q84 is on my list to finish. I agree it's a little slow to start.

As if Christmas I will be reading The Expanse. Until then it is the Savage Worlds sci-fi companion for the kids and L5R for the grown ups.

- I'm about halfway through Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince bedtime reading with my son.
- I'm also on book 3 of the Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson, and enjoying it immensely.
- I'm very nearly (finally) finishing off a book about 100 of the greatest battles in human history, from ancient to modern times. Fascinating stuff, that.

I was taught by my parents to always have a "smart book" and a "dumb book" being read at the same time so I could always impress when people ask me this question. So for now I'm reading a Nathaniel Hawthorne collection that I'm quite enjoying.
I'm also reading a bunch of Dan Abnett. Damn those Chaos Space Marines can fuck up a plan. Tanith First and Only!

My current reading list:
- How to be a GURPS GM, by Mook
- The Masks of Nyarlathotep campaign book
- In my name ('I mitt namn' in Swedish) by Moa-Lina Olbers Croal; a book about being hbtq and/or transgender.
- Odinspawn ('Odinsbarn' in Swedish) by Siri Pettersen. A good Scandinavian fantasy. (Audiobook)

On the fourth book of the Long Earth now. The series is kind of dull, really. But makes for okay background noise while I work.
